Metallum is the annual departmental fest of the Department of Metallurgy and Materials engineering organised by the Society of Student Metallurgists. 2025 will mark the sixth edition of the fest. Metallum comes from the Latin word for ‘metal’ and refers to anything related to metals, including their study and processing. Students, researchers, and academics come together on this platform to explore the dynamic fields of materials science and metallurgy.
